Bezirksliga: 1. Herren nach frustrierendem Freitag mit geilem Samstag

Wenn man 6:2 beim Tabellenzweiten führt, dann muss das nicht unbedingt gleichbedeutend mit einem Punktgewinn sein. Diese bittere Erfahrung machte die 1. Herren am vergangenen Freitag in Potshausen.

Der Start war wie immer verheißungsvoll. Die Doppel Schlake/Talinski und Grüne/Goldbeck brachten den TuS mit 2:1 in Front. Dann erhöhten nacheinander Spitzenspieler Grüne, die stark aufspielende „Mitte“ mit Schlake und Gövert und Goldbeck auf 6:2. Leider kämpfte sich Potshausen zurück in das Spiel und so stand es nach einer erneut starken Leistung von Schlake 7:8 aus Sicht der Sandhorster. Es musste also das Abschlußdoppel entscheiden. Leider stand mit Heselmeyer und Boumann das beste Doppel der Liga auf der anderen Seite des Tisches und so hieß es am Ende nach einem umkämpften Spiel 7:9. Bei optimaler Form aller Sandhorster Akteure wäre ein Punktgewinn durchaus möglich gewesen, so blieb ein starker Auftritt ohne Fortune.

 

Aber die Chance auf Punkte bot sich schon am nächsten Tag. Es ging zum Tabellennachbarn aus Holtriem. Im Hinspiel siegte der TuS mit 9:6 und auch im Rückspiel lief es überraschender Weise sehr gut.

Erneut triumphierten die Doppel Schlake/Talinski und Grüne/Goldbeck jeweils glatt mit 3:0. Letztgenannte besiegten mit souveränem Spiel das bis dahin beste Doppel im unteren Paarkreuz Niemand/Neemann. Die Paarung Janssen/Gövert vergab leider einen Matchball und unterlag dem gegnerischen Spitzendoppel Hosberg/Voß mit 2:3.

Und die guten Leistungen gingen weiter. Grüne und Janssen gaben im oberen Paarkreuz in 4 Spielen nur insgesamt 2 Sätze ab, Schlake und Gövert wiederholten ihre guten Eindrücke vom Vortag und siegten ebenfalls mit kampfbetontem und tollem Spiel. Lediglich im unteren Paarkreuz musste Goldbeck mit 1:3 seinem Gegner Voß gratulieren. Im engsten Spiel des Tages drehte ein am Anfang hadernder Talinski einen 0:2 Rückstand mit viel Kampfgeist noch in einen 3:2 Sieg. So Stand am Ende des Tages mit 9:2 ein in dieser Höhe auch verdienter Erfolg des TuS.

Dieses wurde anschließend mit Wein, Weib und Gesang auch entsprechend gefeiert.

Am nächsten Freitag wartet nun mit Kickers Emden der ungeschlagene Spitzenreiter auf das Sandhorster Sechstett.

    Aber….die schreibende Hälfte des grandiosen oberen Paarkreuzes in Holtriem darf bei aller Bescheidenheit durchaus mal den Fokus auf das längt nicht alltägliche 4-0 dort legen! Das war spielerisch und kämpferisch bester Bezirksligasport und ein echter Garant für das überraschend deutliche 9-2 am Ende!
