1. Herren unterliegt nach „5-Satz-Fluch“ mit 4:9 in Walle

Es gibt Tage da geht einfach nichts und es gibt zusätzlich noch Tage wie diese.

Der äußere Rahmen war wie geschaffen. Draußen eine eisige Kälte und in der warmen Halle versammelten sich insgesamt mehr als 20 Zuschauer, darunter 2 knuddelige Hunde.

Die 1. Herren unterlag in einem spannenden, sehr emotionalen, lautstarken aber jederzeit fairen Lokalderby mit 4:9 bei Komet Walle. Ein deutliches Ergebnis aber aus Sandhorster Sicht mehr als unglücklich. 6 von 10 Einzeln gingen in den Entscheidungssatz, alle konnte Walle für sich entscheiden. Im 5-Satz ging für die Sandhorster so gut wie nichts mehr. Dazu kommt, dass sowohl Schlake (2:3 gegen Gertje) und Goldbeck (2:3 gegen Behrends) jeweils Matchbälle im 4. Satz ungenutzt ließen.
So blieb am Ende des Tages der wieder einmal gute Doppelauftakt. Schlake/Talinski bezwangen Eisenhauer/Heeren ebenso mit 3:1 wie Grüne/Goldbeck die Kombination Bohlen/Behrends. Lediglich Gövert/Janssen mussten sich dem starken Spitzendoppel Meinecke/Gertje mit 3:0 geschlagen geben. Als Grüne dann mit einem glatten 3:0 gegen Meinecke auf 3:1 erhöhte und der im unteren Paarkreuz zu alter Stärke findende Talinski ebenso mit 3:0 gegen Behrends gewann, sah es noch gut aus für die Sandhorster. Doch das war es auch schon. Fast alles andere wurde im 5-Satz entschieden und war sehr unglücklich.

Aber so ist es halt im Sport. In 2 Wochen sehen wir uns alle wieder. Diesmal in Potshausen und warum sollte beim Tabellen 2. nicht eine Überraschung drin sein.
